On 5 February 2025, the European Parliament hosted a hybrid meeting entitled “Raising the Standards of Care for COPD in Europe”, organised by the European Federation of Allergy and Respiratory Diseases Patients’ Associations (EFA).

The event was attended by Members of the European Parliament, representatives of patient organisations and non-governmental organisations dealing with respiratory diseases. The Asthma Treatment Coalition was represented by Prof. Marek Kulus.

The aim of the meeting was to present the current state of treatment for COPD and related diseases in Europe, as well as ways to counteract these conditions in the field of public health, AI tools and early education of the entire society.
