What causes asthma to develop? Can you avoid its heavy form? Are global standards of treatment of this common civilization disease available to Polish patients? In connection with the World Asthma Day, these current problems and ways to solve them were presented during the workshop for journalists under the patronage of the Polish Society of Allergology and the Coalition for Asthma Treatment.

Prominent specialists spoke about organizational changes that can help people with asthma to be properly managed and allow for better disease control, they also raised the issue of the need for early diagnosis, updating treatment regimens and modifications required by current drug programs.
